The following photos are my own, taken by me. Austin, Texas. What a unique, weird little city it is. Between the gorgeous sights and the five-star restaurants on literally every corner, there's no end to the amount of experiences you can have when you're visiting downtown Austin. Yes, Austin is a wonderful city. But in all honesty, it can be very difficult to find the right thing to do. Whether you're a local or a newcomer, there are so many places to visit, it can be overwhelming to come up with an agenda of what you want to do. So, I came up with a general list of different places and activities that you should look into. Food TrucksAustin has more food trucks than anywhere else in the nation. With over 1,500 food trucks in the area, there are plenty of options when it comes to choosing where to eat. Recently, I tried Thai ice cream from the Holla! Mode food truck downtown. Their ice cream is perfect for any hot day. Other than Holla! Mode, there's Gordough's Donuts (a donut truck that hands out probably the most delicious and unique donuts in town) or Torcheys trailers which are always quite promising as well. Graffiti ParkGraffiti Park - aka the 'Hope Outdoor Gallery' - is a destination that all must venture to at some point in their life. The many artists of Austin are constantly adding to its walls, so even if you've been before, the scene there is always changing. For me, Graffiti Park really shows how weird and diverse Austin is. And it's a great place to grab a couple friends and take pictures at. The CapitolRight at the end of Congress Avenue lies the Capitol; A large, beautiful building full of Texas history. Although a trip back through time may not be your cup of tea, I promise that taking the time to enjoy and learn more about Texas and how it came to be is worth the while. So if you have an afternoon off, check out this great spot! Paddle BoardingLast, but definitely not least, is paddle boarding. I do have to admit, the first time I went standup paddle boarding I was pretty scared. But trust me, after a couple of minutes of getting used to it, I felt like a pro. If you bring along a couple of friends, it can be the perfect activity to do on a free day. When I went, I headed over to the Rowing Dock, located in downtown Austin. Their service is great and prices aren't too high. If you enjoyed this rant, then please leave me a comment in the comments section accessible at the top or below the post.

Again, this post was sausome (I think I'm going to make that my comment thing) and I can't believe the picture quality. How does one get so good? Maybe you're a robot and you've been programmed to blog and take pictures like a pro. Or, maybe you're just a prodigy and were destined to the "cool urban chick" life. Whatever it is, hope it keeps working for you the way it is right now.
