With summer fading into fall, my family decided to take a trip to South Dakota with a couple of family friends of ours. All throughout the trip, I remember being fascinated with the beautiful landscape that I was surrounded by. Hills full of vibrant green trees, rivers intertwined throughout large mounds and rocks, and painted sunsets that cast an orange blanket over the earth, are just a few of the scenes that still linger in my mind.
And one of the best things about this trip was where we stayed.
Under Canvas, a company that has completely revolutionized Western camping, was the facility we stayed at. Promoting limited water usage and overall green thinking, Under Canvas provided a sustainable, yet comfortable environment for my family and I to relax in.
But rather than me just talking about the fact that their food was insanely good, that the campus was beautiful from every aspect, or that I legit did my makeup outside of our cabin that had a view of Mt. Rushmore, I'll let my photography do the talking.
As it has locations all over the United States, Under Canvas is an awesome option if you're looking for somewhere to go over the upcoming breaks this fall. Between their tactful planning of the campgrounds, wonderful staff, and beautifully furnished cabins, every aspect of this facility seemed to be well thought out as to provide the experience of South Dakota's beauty. And because of their attention to detail, my family and I's stay, as well as time spent with friends, was that much sweeter.
